ABOUT EVENT

Within the framework of the festival, the following events will be held:
• October 5 and 6 - 6 workshops from masters of oriental dance from Poland and Ukraine.
• October 7 - Competition for the title "Best Oriental Dance Choreographer" and "Best Performer of Oriental Dance" among children and adults. Money prizes * $ 50 and $ 100 for award winners and valuable gifts to performers winners.
• October 5 - A party with the participation of invited oriental dance teachers and contestants.
• October 5 - Determination of dance pairs as the performer-choreographer by drawing lots. Getting musical material to create productions. Compilation of the schedule of choreography work in dance halls (1-1.5 hours will be allocated)
• October 5-7 - Individual work in pairs choreographer- performer.

Also during the whole festival, the invited teachers will conduct individual classes and workshops! All information on the contacts listed below!
* Money prizes are awarded provided there are at least 5 competitors in the nomination.

Rules of the competition
The competition is designed for performers of the level of performance continuing and higher! Please take this into account when registering!
In order to take part in the Solo Arranger nomination, you need to bring with you an artist of oriental dance, which will automatically become a participant in the competition in the appropriate nomination.
In order to take part in the Duo Leader nomination, you need to bring 2 performers of the
Oriental Dance, who will automatically become participants in the competition in the appropriate nomination.
Requirements for Oriental dance performers:
• To participate in the Solo Raks Sharki nomination you need to have a costume for performing oriental dance
• To participate in the Solo Folklore nomination, you need to have a costume for folk dance (dance style to indicate when registering for a competition)
• To participate in the Duo Raks Sharki nomination, both participants need to have the same costumes (or costumes that have common elements) with them to perform the oriental dance
We answer for the majority of questions already asked:
Yes, you have the full right to participate simultaneously as the director of the Raks Sharqi, folklore and duet raks sharqi. You can also participate as a performer in parallel. The main thing is to correctly assess your dance memory !!!
It is possible to register without a "pair" in agreement with the organizer!

• Junior - 14-17 years old
• Adults - 18 years of age
